Nothing to see here
Please accept these reheated leftovers while I hang out with my family in a different time zone.
Trying once again to explain the concept of jet lag to a wide-awake toddler at 3:30am, I’m forced to admit the true folly of thinking I could write a fresh email post to you all whilst also on holiday.
I had tried to record a video post before I left, but I’m rubbish at video posts. That’s why I write you emails. I could record you a song on someone else’s ukulele here in Maine, USA, but who really wants to see that? OK maybe someone… but everyone else here would hate them for it.
So instead of sending you nothing, and some of you wondering where this week’s post was, I thought I’d just thank everyone who has been reading the newsletter all year.
To the many new people who’ve joined so far, welcome. How’s it going so far? Any feedback?
If you’ve been sharing this newsletter around, thank you so much.
To those who’ve unsubscribed, you won’t see this but fair enough. You didn’t sign up for this kind of thing every week, and I respect your setting of clear boundaries. I have no regrets and I hope you don’t either.
I really love doing this, it’s been a massive highlight of my year so far, and that’s at least partly because people read it. So, again, thank you. And now onwards.
Recently added live dates:
Monday 3rd October - Oporto, Leeds. FINALLY. Tickets.
All other UK dates are here. More are on the way soon.
Some dates are almost sold out, others are embarrassingly cold. To keep things interesting I’ll just leave you to guess which is which.

Great news re album Jake, and loving the cover (good choice ;-). Have a good trip away and relax (if that's possible with a young 'un ! ;-). Cheers
