Yes.. on balance , I think I have to say I much preferred 'The Barrel House' than the look of this venue in 'Decentraland'! Looks about as populated as some of the 70's nights evenings I went to while clubbing in the 90s. Most everyone would be in another room! But I learned to strut my stuff, and dance like no one was watching. Because no one was watching.
Haha... what a great performance though. I have to say, me and my wife love this album a whole lot. Which is pretty good, as spouses don't always agree on much. But on this we do agree - your stuff. Full of talent..songs that are a barley sugar for the soul.
Haha.. you can use that quote if you like :0). Not a song we don't like, 'Hands' is my personal favourite - I can't remember the word phalanges ever being used in a song that I've heard before. It scans well. I think our five year old knows pretty much all the words to 'I had this dream'.. (and many others). Not speaking for my better half.. but I think she just loves 'Asking for a friend'. We both love Keep me Around of course (if it's called that, sorry.. don't have the track list to hand) ... and we do.
This tour and album just came at the right point in our life.
A great background story as ever. Still getting to know the album…..you should never rush things! It feels like a 2 sided album, is that deliberately so?
Actually yes a little. Vinyl was an option at one point. 6 tracks a side.
Some of the 2-sided thinking fell away a little at one point when I shuffled the tracks a little more... but hopefully you can cut it up different ways and it still works.
