I'm kind of weird, I like to listen to other songwriters who like flatpacks. I hate flatpacks. Very nicely mastered. Really enjoyed the guitar backing too.
"I sometimes speak of things that I know bugger all about".....don't we all! Some though (Politicians for one), speak pretty well all the time of things they know zero about whilst trying to con us into believing they are experts and.....right to boot!
We are all weird in our own quirky ways....that's humanity for you...but for a sense of belonging or being on the same wavelength I think it is important that we can relate to each others weirdness....it's another form of communication like we talked of in the past.
Nice song Jake...reminds me of your "scenarios" song for some reason, which I TOTALLY identify with....who hasn't wished: "if only I could step in now and ....." weird!

No surprise, love this one too. Find it quirky and beautiful. The joy of an unpredictable structure. More of a soliloquy than a song?
Funny you say that, I did once try to perform it as a poem...
The fact I did it once probably tells you all you need to know about how that went!
Hadn't heard that one before, totally beautiful, could be my favourite Jake song now
That's awesome Tom! Thanks for telling me.
