Beautiful Jake- thanks for sharing. I love a song where chord changes catch you on the hop and cause an involuntary “oooohh”, and this one has plenty of those. You’ve shaped your recurring and evolving dream into lovely lyrics too- I hope this little gem ultimately finds a wider audience….

A little quirkier than many of your songs... unpredictable chord progressions (different and nice)... and lovely poetry and flow

Great song! I wonder if the Queen does this sometimes when walking around Buckingham Palace

Did you know that it's a very common dream? Ms Internet says that people tend to have that particular dream when facing a challenge that, in daylight, you don't feel qualified to meet. The dream tells you that you CAN accommodate the challenge as there are untapped resources within you that you didn't know were there. I love that!

Paired with the intro on the newsletter, it brought up a lot of things for me that the song alone probably wouldn't have managed. Maybe the intro was the bonus / hidden part all along!?

What a lovely song! Very gentle and intriguing. It has a Beatles quality in the writing to it.

I have a recurring dream where I push the light switch but the light doesn't come on.

I still have your 'Everything goes back to normal sticker' in my cupboard!
